Coming off a National Championship win,UCLA enters the 2024 season as the top ranked team in the country again. Last season the Bruins finished 29-2 in the regular season and defeated Hawaii in the National Championship match. This is the fifth time in the last six seasons that the Bruins are ranked either No. 1 or No. 2 in the preseason rankings. The season starts with the Bruins playing a doubleheader at home against Fort Valley State (0-1) and Morehouse. The game against the Wildcats will be the first time the defending champions take the court to play in a match. Their title defense starts here today.

The last time the Bruins were on the court they took care of business against the Warriors in the National Championship match 3-1 finishing the season like they played all season - dominant.
Last season the Bruins started the season 9-0 before picking up their first loss. After each loss they went on 10-plus game winning streaks on their way to the schools 20th National Championship.
After this match the Bruins will take on the Morehouse Tigers in the second game of this doubleheader to start the season. That match will also air on Pac-12 Los Angeles where the Bruins will look to begin the season with two wins on the first day of the men’s college volleyball season.
